What emerges when parts become more than their sum?

             
Emergence refers to the creation of new structures or properties from the interaction of individual elements in a complex system — properties of a "whole" that cannot be derived directly from the individual "parts" and can only be explained by their interaction.

A physical installation that makes this concept experiential: a sculptural body within which an audiovisual experience emerges. 2016
